This week I've added the Dorian Mode (not sure how I managed to forget it!) and the ability to highlight notes - if you click on a note, then all dots of that note will be highlighted.
I've also made it remember what key you are in when you change scales, so if you are vewing the Blues scale in f# and then click to view the minor pentatonic, then it will show you the minor pentatonic also in f#.
Thanks to comments on guitarists.net forum, I've changed the colour of the dots to blue and coloured the tonic notes yellow.
I've also changed the styling for printing, so the scales should print nicely now without the dark background - ideal for taking to lessons. In Internet Explorer you might need to check the option to print images and backgrounds.
That's all for now but there's plenty more planned!
Added two new scales; the blues scale and the Hungarian minor scale. I've also made a few cosmetic changes but nothing spectacular.
ScaleFinder is online! It's taken the best part of 5 months on and off (mainly off) but finally it is ready!
This is the first edition of ScaleFinder and I will be upgrading it and adding new features regularly.
If there's anything you would like me to add or if you have any great ideas for the site then please send me a message!
